Malik Kiambe Johnson, a.k.a. M.K.J., is a gospel rapper born in Memphis, TN. He's also a community activist with the group, The Big 7. In 2006, he totally sold out to Christ which reignited his childhood love for rap music and began writing and composing music. At age 14, he recorded and released his first single, "I'm A Shine", which received radio play on the local gospel station 95.7 FM. Now within 10 years of ministry, he's ministered/performed at nearly 300 events at various venues around the country and has been blessed to have graced the stage with other great artist such as Canton Jones, Stephen Wiley, BB Jay, Mr. Del, Shea Norman, just to name a few. He has been featured on television shows such as Action News 5, ABC Local 24, Abundant Life Hour in Decatur, Alabame, just to name a few. He's been the guest speaker/performed at Lemoyne Owen College, Memphis Business Academy, MLK Alternative School, etc. In 2012, he made TCAP song for Memphis Business Academy. He has worked with the Memphis Music Commission and in December 2014 his Christmas song "Bring Back Joy" received radio play on 89.3 FM. In 2015, he made a "Stash The Trash" song and music video the Fedex Memphis World Hub Corporation, which was viewed by over 10,000 people. In 2015, he also performed at the UniverSOUL Circus. He has released over 10 music videos (all of which have reached between 3,000 to 50,000 views on Youtube/Facebook). He has surrendered his life, even his own initals, to stand for "My King Jesus", to minister the gospel to the streets, and even more specifically, to the youth. He believes in investing in the youth because they are the next generation that MUST be captured to leave a mark on those left behind during the great tribulation. On October 15, 2011, he started his very own record label, "10:15 Records", where the mission/vision is "Bringin' Da Good News Thru Good Music".
